GOAT isn't like a belt. It isn't a title that switches hands with one win or loss. It's about a body of work.

DC is probably top 15-20 GOAT as it is, just based on his current a compliments. But it's hard to break the top ten without being a (real) champ with title defenses. If he beats Jones, it really boosts his resume, but not above Anderson, GSP, And Fedor. He'd still have work to do.

Bones would lose his #1 status, though.

If he beat Jones at 200 and then again in the rubber match then he would be both the LHW GOAT and the p4p GOAT without question. Not the actual GOAT though. Hed lose to Werdum and a few other top HWs.
