Gotta agree with him. Conor getting a straight title shot was stupid in the first place. If he actually had to work his way up in the LW division, he wouldn't be anywhere close to a title shot unless they're giving out for popularity contests, which is why he got one in the first place.

If they rematch, I hope it's at 155 so Nate can show Conor that he doesn't deserve a title shot, much less be there with the top guys.

I love Nate... he's like MMA's version of Tyson when it comes to talking. Yeah, he's got an interesting delivery. Sure he stutters and mumbles a bit... but I'll be damned if there isn't some bit of charm to the whole thing. And I bet he's got some wicked stories to tell if he ever sits down with a legit writer who can piece it together proper.

Well he's not wrong. If Conor fought Bendo, RDA, McDonald etc in the form they had vs Nate he would have lost to all of them, that should be obvious.

haha Nate is noticably more comfortable in front of the camera since the fight. What a change in demeanor and attitude. He's relaxed, affable, and dare I say, charming.

he needs to tank Conor for changing his bum life.

Nate makes me feel proud. God, could I be his dad ???

V difficult not to like the guy, hes fuckin awesome!

Nate is right. You can't look at a record and say "fighter x will beat fighter y". Some records are a little more padded.

Nate was thrown to the wolves.

Nate's right but we gotta give Conor credit for going up two weight classes and staying relatively active over the past two years.

I've never understood the hate for the Diaz brothers. Once you get to know them, you realize they're just chill people who say what they feel. And they're badasses who always bring the fight. I'm glad Nate is getting his time in and making money, he's always been a must watch fighter for me. Glad other people are seeing it now too.

It's the new bong. Seriously though, his lifestyle is different without an upcoming drug test.

I'd give him more credit if he went up and won. But he didnt. Anyone can go up in weight if they want to, so I dont get why you guys make him out to be a hero. Diaz went up to fight at 170, but he wasn't a hero for doing so... And Conor fought a 155 lbs figher, not a natural 170 lbs fighter. Let him fight Rory or Hendricks before you go kissing his ass.

If anyone deserves credit it's Benson and Cerrone for going up and winning.

Conor is also holding up the FW division if the rematch goes through. It's good he's active, but he needs to defend his belt already.

He didn't go up 2 weight classes...he didn't cut 2 weight classes down from his natural weight and fought a guy 1, ONE pound heavier.

How can you not love Nate?

If he wins the rematch he could be a fucking superstar.

Weeded.

Nate gives us gold everytime he opens his mouth and isn't even trying. Dude is really just like this lol.

The two weight class thing is just getting ridiculous, nate is a lw. Rogan even said at the beginning of the fight "let's be realistic here, all this is, is two guys not cutting weight and I hope it becomes a trend"

I actually kind of hate Conor just giving credit where credit is due but fair point.

Fuck! Gotta love Nate! I do t know why and you guys can flame me all you want but at the end when they asked Nate if he'd come back and and Nate said he would and then was like,"can I have something?" And grabbed a baseball from the set, it choked me up in a weird way man.

Something very childlike and innocent about that moment that kinda made me tear up. God bless that dude.
