How long would it take him to get his black belt and win every BJJ tournament out there? 6 months, 1 year, 1 year and a half, 2 years?

He is a brown belt. Not long.

But with his talent, if he took it serious he would be better than Maia and Jacare with 6 months of training.

If he went to a genuinely good competition team, he'd likely do very well. I'm not sure how well that would transfer over to MMA (especially when gassed and rocked), but in terms of pure BJJ he could likely do very well in a year or two if he devoted himself to it full-time.

SBG brown belt is the equivalent of a blue belt in any gym in the US or Brazil

He's a brown belt, so maybe 2-3 years. The Gracie fam do not hand out black belts rapidly. They make you earn that shit over many years of rolling and competing.

If this is supposed to be sarcastic, it's not doing the job.

As long as it takes for the ink on a million dollar check to dry

did you see how pedestrian his ground game was against diaz?

all of his losses are from subs--whats next, you think sonnen should start teaching a class on triangle defense?

Pointless thread. Very few people here are qualified to advise a brown belt on how to take their game to the next step. Myself included.

What is up with those dumb people that judge Conor's ground game when he was rocked and gassed? They never heard about the famous line "Punch a black belt once, he becomes a brown, punch him twice, he becomes a purple".

Conor finished a black belt and dominated Holloway. He also did well against Nate when he is wasn't that gassed, if he was that bad Nate would finish him with the time he had in the first.

Was he rocked and gassed when he got knee barred by a 125'er?

He can't do it before UFC 200, and it wouldn't help him anyways. Nate beat him on the feat, not with BJJ.
