Conor should be stripped immediately. This would add to the drama pretty quickly. Plus he would technically retire a champ, but shouldn't be allowed to keep the belt and Edgar and Aldo would have to fight for it.

The reason that I don't believe the whole thing is that that portion hasn't been brought up by ufc brass. it makes me wonder if a pending ped drug test is about to be exposed or something. it seems too neat.

He's never gonna defend it anyway.

Maybe the Ufc are still hoping to come to a resolution, but I agree if he stays retired, he should be stripped and Aldo and Edgar fight for the real belt.

Now or just before 200, its all the same.

But yes he has retired so hand over the FW belt.

Except for the McGregor Belt, that is nates for now.

Uhhh...

If he resigned he's effectively relinquishing the belt anyways.

Agreed. Make Aldo vs Edgar main event at UFC 200. Order is restored.

If he is retired and won't defend the belt, the belt should belong to the winner of Aldo - Edgar fight. He asked for Nate Diaz in a 2nd consecutive title fight at a catch weight rather than defend the 145 belt and now he cancels the fight. When he comes back give him Nate Diaz or RDA.

When he comes back give him an immediate LW title shot despite the fact he just lost to #5 lightweight?

posted this in another thread ..

meh .. cowboy nailed it in his tweet ..

"just another stunt to get people to talk about his bitch ass"

I just hope to the skies that ZUFFA DONT do the Randy HW champion ordeal all over again.

Strip that bastard!!!!

He doesn't and wouldn't deserve Nate, RDA, or really any fighter in his dIvision after this/that...

I bet if you could make the Aldo KO not happen you would. That's how big of a pussy you are about the situation.

He's not retiring this is just another one of his publicity stunts.
