if Cain Velasquez pulls out of his upcoming fight do you think he will kill any chance he has of becoming a pay-per-view a draw? and if you're the UFC do you make him fight at least three times in a year to get a title shot again? just to prove he won't get injured again?
in all honesty cain should have at least 5 more fights on his record that he does. anyways what are
your thoughts and opinions on this?

If he pulls out the winner of Reem/Jds or Stipe/Rothwell better get the next title shot

With Arlovski fighting soon and other fighters being booked, Arlovski will probably be paid to go through a training camp like Mendes and Eye did for Aldo and Zingano respectively.

If Cain pulls out, expect Arlovski to fight Werdum as a short notice replacement.

Reem/Jds fight the same month. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them got the shot

Don't see how pulling out of this fight will make a huge difference in his PPV drawing abilities.

The chances of him becoming a major PPV draw on the level of Brock/Jones/GSP/Rousey died as soon as JDS KO'd him in a minute. All of the casual fans who sat through 40 minutes of awful hype only to see that will forever see Cain as a scrub. While he may not be a scrub, they really haven't missed much of his career since then because... yeah

If there's anything a fighter needs, it's 100 reps of leg extensions at 300 pounds as fast as possible.

Throw in daily auto-erotic asphyxiation to harden his neck against chokes and you've got the best supplemental training program ever.

Good idea. While he's hanging there, Cormier and Rockhold can punch him in the stomach as hard as they can. BECAUSE THEY GO ALL OUT AT AKA!!!

Khabib's just watching and manages to tear his ACL shit talking on twitter.

So dumb, may as well do some crossfit too...

Actually good Crossfit (with a conscientious trainer) can be excellent. It's just gotten too commercial and you've probably seen some lesser trainers run a class.
Cerrone's training isn't that far off from Crossfit, and he never gets hurt.

But this stuff, I'm surprised that this is part of any "elite training" and that this guy attracts the likes of Cain Velasquez.

It's to a point where Cain and Pettis has become synonymous with injuries. After all these injuries you would think they would have by now figured out ways to reduce these factors.
