Than when? When Cain Velasquez was beating the likes of Zombie Nog and Ben Rothwell and was considered HW GOAT? For like 4 years there was no legitimate HWs aside from Cain and JDS. Before that was the Lesnar/Frank/Carwin era... and before that was the Timmeh/Couture era.

You would have to go back like 13 years for a stacked/prime HW roster... and it wasn’t even in UFC

Shit thread and the ufc hw division has always ben like this no hw can hold that strap for very long but stipe is seeming to do it well and you never know what is gonna happen a punch from a bjj grappler at hw is a 1 hit ko cain i think he could of reigned for a while still hard to say but cain kept getting ill and injurys the only hw to reign for ever was fedor who never competed for ufc but beat ufc champs and beat them when there was no ufc back in pride.
