If anybody deserves a rematch between Aldo and Conor, it is Aldo.

I think if Conor does not land that left hand, it is still a competitive fight, if Aldo calms himself down and is cool and collected. That sad, Aldo did get his second chance and he pulled out for the second time, but it is still a fight which leaves a question, as on the other hand against Nate it is pretty clear who is the better fighter .
Not only could Nate time Conor after the first round, he can punch him out on volume, and he has the better cardio, with the better ground game. Conor's kicks does not represent a problem for Nate,as they are just flashy baby kicks with no power, he just uses those kicks to set up his punches.
Only in the first round is Conor somewhat dangerous, but not against Nate, who could take his punches easy and come back strong. Also Nate has a heart, where Conor lacks .

Aldo just can't handle Conor, Just keep hating on Conor and reveling in Nate's win like all the other squakers.

No offence, you're probably a cool dude in real life.

I would also favor Conor in the Aldo rematch, but slightly . I think overall it would be a much competitive fight, than the one with Nate.

I'm not gonna bump this thread when Conor beats Nate, as I'm not that kinda guy.

Dos Anjos would finish all three of them within the distance.

I think Nate deserves a rematch between Aldo and Conor more than Aldo.

I think Conor beats Nate 14 out of 15 times.

Between Aldo and Conor?

Unless you're an Aldo fan, I'm not sure how anybody could be interested in a rematch of a fight that lasted 13 friggin seconds. As the saying goes, "Fool me once...". But that's just me.

Ofcourse its Aldo... Conor most definetly doesnt deserve a rematch with nate and that rematch will be the most pointless bs rematch ever if it happens...

Some fools think based on that 13 second fight that Aldo has no chance to beat Conor and that its over no rematch ever gg Conor is the champ forever no need to defend belt just let him keep the belt and move on to other weight classes... While i do agree that Conor will probably beat Jose maybe 7 out of 10 times, it is just stupid to ignore the fact that it can be an awesome fight, that Aldo is a great fighter, and that it is a huge test for both of them.

This is exactly why I am interested in the rematch. Aldo just rushed in with no brain, trying to take Conor head off, and Conor just landed that perfect left. It was a thing of beauty, and I don't think it was a fluke, because it was well timed and Conor expected Aldo to do that, but Aldo is so much better than that.

That wasn't a chance, he was less than 3 months removed from a major concussion.

The idea he was seriously offered the fight is a joke.

So if you were the UFC how would you sell the idea of a rematch to a paying public that goes way beyond the few thousand people who post on MMA forums with some regularity? I don't think they can. At least not right away.

Caol Uno was TKO'd by BJ Penn in 11 seconds

Uno got his rematch and took it to a competitive decision

Aldo can win the rematch with Conor

Well this is true, the money fight right now is the Nate fight. But you don't have to completely milk Conor now and just send him into another loss, you can build him up a little bit more with a title defence and then go for a rematch with Nate. Conor will need to fight eventually at FW again.

A rematch of what?

They didn't fight...

Both Uno and Penn also had multiple fights in between, though, which is what I was alluding to with the other guy by saying it's a hard sell right away. Uno had to beat a couple of other contenders before that rematch could happen.

Unless McGregor is thrown in there with a complete soft touch he's going to be at some risk of losing no matter who he fights. He may be at more risk losing to Nate again, but if the fight is at 170 again then the UFC could at least sell the idea that Conor lost to a bigger guy at a weight he shouldn't be competing at in the first place. They do have a bit of a safety net there in that regards that they wouldn't have if he lost to somebody like Edgar or Aldo. Conor may be done at 145 anyways. Who knows. A lot of people have their suspicions that he is.
