Arguably, the UFC didn't do its duty of putting on a fair fight as stated by the rules in a contract. Since the UFC failed to live up to its end of the deal, does that make the contract null and void, potentially freeing the fighter to get a release if he wants it?

Let's bring in the finest Sherdog attorneys money can buy for their opinion.

I'm sure stranger things have been argued in court, im sure the UFC have pretty airtight contracts though.

Please never give law advice.

You're a streamlined, in-the-box guy if you can't appreciate this kind of thought.
Out of the box means creative, not child-like. It's an extremely weak argument which holds no water since the UFC does enhanced testing above what the government has determined they need to do in order to meet that obligation. In essence Hunt would have to defeat the UFC while the UFC is being backed by the government.

It's an interesting point, many employers have been sued for injuries related to an unsafe work environment

Can you show me any of these lawsuits where the government backs the employer saying they employer went above and beyond to create a safe work environment?

I have no idea what you are trying to say

Nice try, fighters aren't employees.

Short answer, no. It would be easier to just test less but catching guys late isn't going to free up a fighter.

The lawsuits you speak of are when employers do not follow government standards. The UFC not only follows the government's set standard, they go above and beyond it. I don't know how you don't understand.

Above and beyond it? - then why the hell did Hunt get stuck fighting a drugged up Lesnar. The UFC waved the policy that states that a fighter coming out of retirement must provide four months notice in order to comply with usada testing. They changed the policy just for Lesnar and Hunt got stuck fighting a guy with an unfair advantage- please explain how this can possible going "above and beyond"

USADA is not required for fighting promotions.

Yes. AC testing is the government standard. USADA is above and beyond. Really not sure how you still don't get it.

Less than white belt level post. No, they did not. Nothing was changed for Lesnar.
You have no idea what you talking about, the four month window was waived for Lesnar it has been well documented. Your avoiding the question. You said they went above and beyond, how is changing the policy on drug testing for one guy that tested positive-going above and beyond. You say something then can't back it up but I'm the white belt, what a bitch move.
