Ideas to Shorten Hanging Straps on Heavybag

Got a nice Fairtex heavybag and an I-Beam mount. As you can see, I'll need to shorten the straps in some way if I'm to make use out of the bag. Just looking for ideas.

An old post. Anyway, the person could have used two carabiners to reduce the size of the hanging straps.
