Ya'll know if he beats Woodley, the UFC are going to book Conor v RDA. Then just like MW with GSP, WW will be stalled, challengers will stack up and division will be screwed for the next few years.

The worst part being - Conor could potentially win that fight. RDA will be mid 30's by the time it's made and he's not the worst match-up stylistically for Conor.

In that regard, I'm kinda hoping RDA gets derailed. Don't want to see Conor stall WW like he's done to LW, and like GSP's done to MW.

dude if somehow Tyrone x RDA happens before Conor x Ferguson UFC will officialy have become a circus unscrupulous, Tyron had that draw with Wonderboy at the same card Conor got his belt, after that Tyrone defended twice and Conor didn't even fought, Conor has to fight asap, if by mid 2018 he hasn't fought Ferguson he should be stripped
 
How did GSP stall the MW division?

He won the title and vacated it within a month or so so it wouldn't get stalled...

He called Bisping out the moment he won the title. Once you throw your hat in the ring as a PPV draw, you hold up the division. He knew this. It was clever.

If he had of waited until mid 2017 when he would actually be ready, the division wouldn't have been stalled, Jacare and Romero would have had their title shots and GSP skipping the queue would have been fine.

But instead, he called out Bisping in June 2016. Negotiated in October pre- the Hendo fight. The UFC booked the Hendo fight because GSP said he wouldn't be ready until 2017. They had a press conference early 2017, and then GSP said he wouldn't be ready until late 2017.

He stalled the division because he didn't want the MW champ. He wanted Bisping for the title. By the time GSP vacated [Something he was always going to do] the damage was done.

In anycase - I would lay down a hefty sum that if RDA wins the WW belt, Conor will be his first defence.

Bisping stalled the division. He was the champion. He could have fought someone else but got injured/choose not to.

I'm a fan of RDA and hate Woodley but that is a very hard fight for him and would and should be a significant underdog.
 
Fuck Conor, first he need to come back and if he seriously comes back, Dana will make probably some other kind of nonsense fight.
And also Conor is lightweight, he should be first defend his belt there, before switching weight classes.
