Ice cream is severely overrated

There, I said it. It's both the most overrated sweet, and the most overrated dairy product.

Let's first compare it to other sweets. Obviously, ice cream is amazing in the summer, but it loses its luster during the rest of the year, eventually becoming completely unappealing in the winter. can you say the same of cake? Of pie? Of course not! Those things are great throughout the year!

Likewise comparing it with other dairy products. Cheese doesn't become less tasty during winter. Not does yogurt, or milk, or cottage cheese. Only ice cream finds it's appeal subject to the whims of nature.

I don't really know where I'm going with this, but fuck I've cream. Whatever. I'm drunk. Fuck you.

Meh people have different tastes. I, for instance, could take or leave cake. I'm not big on it. I'll eat it at special occasions, but I could pretty much go the rest of my life not having it and be okay with it. There's other people who swear by it. I like ice cream a good bit, but I think I'm less of a dessert person in general than I was years ago.

I make sorbet all the time with leftover fruit or mix up my own flavors of icecream to compliment a meal or a movie night.

I'll always choose Ice Cream over Cake and Pie tbh. I like Cake and Pie but i've always found them both Overrated. Idk maybe i'm just a picky eater.
