Media Ian Garry talks about why he cries before every fight

All that bullshit with everyone talking shit about him a couple of months ago made him more likable. He's not acing like an arrogant prick anymore, just being more "human". I had no idea he's been training with D-Rod either. He's a good guy, just a little weird.

Sherbros gonna jump on here and destroy him for this lmao.
Nothing wrong with it, if you feel like crying you should fucking cry dawg. I think Mike Tyson used to cry before every fight too. Doesn't make you any less.
Start crying you pussies!!!!!

I remember they nicknamed Nick Thompson “The Goat” because he would pass out (like those fainting goats) before his fights…

I remember video of Tito Ortiz puking right before coming out for a match as well…

Is normal.

I can just imagine the macho sherdog keyboard warriors bullying a pro fighter and calling him unmanly lmao.

The ultimate paradox. And yeah there might be some posters with even pro fight experience but they tend to be the more forgiving type.

Super tallented fighter, BUT, this makes me dislikes the dude even more

That's respectable. I do think he should not tell so much intimate things, but what he's telling here is not what I'm referring to.

The kid can fight, speaks english, he doesnt have to act like a lunatic to get somewhat famous. You don't just improvise being charismatic ; with Conor, the stars really aligned for a moment.

With better PR counseling, I'm sure that, if he continues to progress as a fighter, most people could turn the page. In the end it's not a sitcom, we wanna see fights, and he's a promising fighter, with a fan friendly style, I think.

I fear that he's being encouraged by some parasitic people to keep on acting like an idiot, whereas some friends/teammates with good intentions may have helped him when shit started getting out of control.

The whole situation was kinda amusing at first, but the internet mob dog piling will become stale real quick.

That being said, he's done terrible choices, but it's still time to do things differently I guess.

All combat athletes must be dealing with a rush in hormones, adrenaline, anxiety, and anticipation.

This reminded me of a an AKA backstage video that showed Thiago Silva getting ready to walk-out for his fight. Thiago was pacing back and and forth and seemed to be whimpering.

Is normal.
