I will say that when Stipe was coming to the ring. I could see he was going to win at that point. Up until then I had ngannou but Stipe looked like he was ready to die. Stipe is just a warrior.

great win and I don't see this guy being beaten for quite a long time.

I was wrong too. I thought NGannou would knock him out. Apparently, I'd forgotten how good Stipe actually is.

Crow duly eaten and digested.

lol

Where was that other thread you put up yesterday, saying he was shook?

i was dead wrong for both cards

I'm embarrassed

lol

at the time yeah.

I made a thread during the walkout though. Literally changed my mind on my pick as the walkout happened.

Stipe was ready, like a warrior going to war. It was great to see.

It was actually Ngannou who looked a little uncertain which was interesting to see on the day.

Energy / body language is everything In these lead ups n Its awesome just to see how it changed up on the fight day.

In the leadup to this fight I underestimated Stipe.

Glad for Stipe, he's a great guy

Yeah, you was. All good TS, MMA is a crazy sport, at least you didn't bet on it lol.
That said, i was god dammit right.
Stipe is probably faster, more refined technique too.

Fact is Stipe is on a 5 win streak, in which he fought 2 boxers heavy hitters in JDS and Mark Hunt, he didn't let his chin exposed at all against them. I think that fight could be similar to Miocic-Hunt but more competitive.

ngannou beats him the second time imo. he was amateurish in round 1 and burnt himself out for the whole fight.

It's like a less extreme version of Ubereem. With some fight IQ, restaint, and wrestling training next time would be way more competitative

More "experts" were picking Ngannou to win than were picking Stipe.

You were FOOLED.

Small difference

you guys grasp on to the easiest of things ..

This was smoke n mirrors at its finest again ..

I was wrong, I had stipe beating him in the second or third.

I’m a big fan of Stipe but I thought for sure he was going to sleep early last night.

Stipe ate Ngannou’s bombs and then proceeded to wear big boy the fuck out. Ngannou could barely stand up on his own.

Rd.4 strikes-
Stipe 84
Ngannou 0
<Lmaoo>

Not unless he gets more technical in his striking. Not sure what he's been training, but he throws very sloppy. I don't think "oh I'll just throw less in the first round" will work.

Coming in I thought oh I’ve seen Stipe get tagged a lot ;feeling good about Francis chances. I was also very wrong;Ngannou will learn from it. Hope he keeps grinding and getting better.FN is a fun early rounds fighter would be interesting to see him cut some mass though
