I was shocked how little Diaz seemed to be affected by conor's power

At all, was never even fazed a little bit by any of mcgregor's power shots, ate them like nothing.

That's the Diaz brothers. They don't give a shit. As long as they can throw, they'll continue to fight, no matter what you throw at them. Tough as nails and great chin

diaz gonna diaz
the only problem was the cut and blood
otherwise it takes alot more to put them away

Yeah right. He caught Conor good for him but he felt those shots. Round 1 was all Conor and he busted up Nates face.

That's because Conor doesn't have that much power, he's a TKO artist at FW. Accuracy and accumulation is his weapon. He KO'd Aldo coming in with a beautifully timed shot.

Diaz was often just out of range. A lot of the shots that landed were at the tail end of the swing and had lost power.

Lol you again, I'm surprised you never abandoned your account yet, Conor lost afterall.

I think that's the secret to have a good chin. You just don't have to give a fuck when you get hit even if it hurt you.

Awesome that both Nate and Nick chin didn't crack after so many battles.

Well. If the blow doesnt knock them out cold, they may as well not even felt it.

Boxing says "a good big man beats a good little man" and this is why. Power lessens as you move up in weight. Conor wasn't hitting a FW. Same reason Conor's chin didn't stand up against someone who isn't known for his power. Conor is hell on wheels when he cuts huge amounts of weight to get an advantage. It appears fighting guys his size, not so much.

Was never even close to rocked, legs never buckled even a little bit. Look when Diaz tags conor and his legs go jelly, there is a huge difference.

I have been with Nate and have been bashing Cunner from day one..but I disagree that Nate was unfazed...Cunner connected, got Nates attention, and left Nate knowing he was in a fight, I bet today Nate is pretty banged up laying low, sitting on the couch, smoking a Fat one and drinking a beer...

I wasn't...Nate has a iron head...that's why I thought this was the best matchup possible given the situation..a true test. It's a really big test for Conor's power and that reach is almost always is a killer in MMA. People bitched and moaned about other fighters but really this was the fight...Nate was right!

Conor's power plays up a lot at 145 lbs. But he's even said himself - he doesn't have THAT great a punching power. He's just really accurate. It's kind of hard to call him a volume guy - but he kind of would have to be that at 155 lbs or 170.

As far as busting up Nate's face - Nate's skin is basically all scar tissue. If you blow on it hard enough, it'd probably bleed. He threw a lot of shots that the crowd reacted to, but he didn't really land them that clean. He had a hard time finding range and when he finally did - when he connected with the kinds of shots that usually put guys away, Nate was still there. Then he began to throw a little too hard, Nate caught him with some nice combos - Conor paniked, shot and well - that's like gleefully charging into a fire.

I think Conor can fight at lightweight - but I don't think he'll be an elite fighter there. He'd get murdered at 170 lbs. I don't even think it should be mentioned heading forward.

Nate walked through all of conor's bombs, watch the fight never even close to buckled. Clear as day there was a huge power difference when Nate tagged conor.
