There is no heaven or hell, there is no Allah or Jesus. All we have is our lives in this earth. I intend to live forever. I watch everyday interviews of Ray Kurzeil, Michio Kaku, Elon Musk and interviews from other brilliant people. The conclusion is this. We are very close of creating artificial intelligent. Let's say we create artificial intelligent in 40 years. What will follow is revolution of technology and biology. AI will be a trillion times smarter than us and will figure everything out.

Now the real problem is this. I am 30 years old and my grandfather and grandmother are still alive at 90 and 85 years old and their brains are razor sharp. So i probably have 60-70 years left IF everything goes as planned and i don't have an accident. So what do i do? Should i quit my job and stay in my house for 70 years eating healthy foods that i grow in my yard or risk it going outside? What would you do? I am terrified with all the news i hear and from what i experience everyday. People are really vulnerable and it's really easy to die.

If you lived forever, you would eventually see everything from the creation of the universe, to it's end, and then it's subsequent recreation and every possibility in between, and you would see it infinite times. You would get bored. Especially if you had to wait 800 trillion years just to see your favorite part again.

When I was a kid, the 6 months leading up to christmas was an eternity. At 35, I can't believe nearly 7 months has passed already this year.

If I lived to be 1000 time would be so fleeting I'd panic myself into insanity.

Otherwise you'd probably max out about 5 billion years when the sun dies and consumes the earth.

Really time passes so fast it's crazy. I think that was yesterday that i was called a kid. Now i am full grown man and i am aging and it sucks. Maybe if we lived for 1000 years i would get a satisfaction but 90 years is like nothing. Also after 60 you really lose your flexibility and your ability to do things. So basically we have 60 years to enjoy life

Nah man. I have kids and I would never want to outlive them. I want to be old enough to experience being a grandfather and enjoy some years of retirement, but I don't want to live to the point where I'm being spoon fed liquid lunch.
