I know what you mean with the roads like waves thing. I was in a small quake(5.5) but I was right in the epicenter. I was at a stop light and it felt like someone plowed into me from behind. I looked back and saw nothing. Looked forward and saw the wavey roads. I will never not respect nature.

i was in that one as well. i remember riding my bike heading home to watch the game when it happened. i fell off my bike, and while lying on the floor, i looked up and saw telephone polls and trees swaying back and forth. i will never forget that image. it was not fun. fun was the last thing on my mind.
