I wanna see axe kicks inside UFC

That’s what I was thinking. You are asking to see a better quality axe kick in MMA and want them to look like Hug? One of the best axe kickers ever!

Its like asking for more uppercuts and posting a Tyson gif... Like sure, we'd all like to see that.

The best part about the GSP one was Mayhem laughing about it for the rest of the round, whilst being smeshed.

Bit of a high risk kick if you can't throw it off cleanly whether you hit something or not if you can't get the leg back without losing your balance or having it caught you could be planted on your back the rest of the round.

Axe-kicks and crescent kicks are the only traditional kicks that haven’t found much success in MMA.

They are highly technical, risky and most of the time ineffective compared to other weapons. You’d need years of practice to turn it into an effective technique capable of doing damage on a professional stage.

I’m looking forward to the day someone gets KO’d with an axe kick.
