K-1 pretty much died after the 2010 WGP (his last fight vs Zimmerman) and in 2011 he went back to compete in the Kyokushin All American Open in June and then the Kyokushin World Open Karate Tournament in November. In 2012, he has moved into MMA.

Overeem looked like 300 lbs of pure muscle in those fights

That knee was nasty, Overeem was deeply concerned while Fujita laid in corner.

He went on to have an absolute war with Aerts, then easily beat Zimmerman. His career wasn't ended.

I think diverticulitous wrecked Lesnar and Overeem simply finished him off.

He didn't disappear. He fought Zimmerman and Aerts after that fight.

Overeem in no way killed Poturak's career. He still fights regularly.

Teixeira did fight again after that.

    Was a brutal KO though.
