And then you woke up, and realized GSP mixes it up way too well for Wonderboy. He actually has a striking background(unlike Hendricks), and wrestling on par, or better than Hendricks, with the ability to mix the two seamlessly. Wonderboy gets manhandled in a fight with GSP.

Completely agree with you. GSP mixed it up as well as anyone ever has and that's what made him so dangerous.

I'm not that surprised GSP outwrestled Sonnen to be honest. GSP used to wrestle pretty much 50-50 with Rashad Evans back when they were training partners and Rashad destroyed Chael.

I agree Hendricks looked terrible but its kind of up in the air if he looked terrible because Thompson is just better. He also had camp issues.Once the TD failed he had shit nothing on the feet. He had this kind of sarcastic attitude about it...then gets kicked in the face.

Thompson showed good TDD.

I dont think GSP can stand with Thompson. I also think he would have trouble closing the distance and not taking damage. Thompson is a big dude. GSP has been out a long time.

I got Wonderboy for the win.

Like people have said, GSP ability to dart in and score a take down is pretty significant. I think he is also more aware of distance than anybody Thompson has faced so far in the UFC
