It's not really about the opponent.

Its about Conor being able to make it through a training camp, while still partying every night.

I'm in your camp that he probably won't fight Chandler if he does come back. Told my buddy I think it will be Poirier or Diaz. Jones and Conor are in the same category for me now tho. If they fight I will watch cuz I watch almost every card but I am basically over them and don't care to waste energy wondering if they will or won't.

Never loved Conor or was a fan but I did enjoy watching him fight.
It would've been nice to see one more fight from him.
Ufc fights feel bigger with names such as Conor, Brock, GSP.
We aren't left with much Blockbuster feeling fighters as of now.

Can definitely see a gassed Connie getting flattened by Paul Jake on the horizon.
Seems to be the most likely outcome to me.

I can't see him fighting any hungry lions in the UFC ever again, it just doesn't make sense for him anymore & he must realise he ain't gonna be competing with capable fighters after so many years of inactivity.
Just don't think he has it in him anymore, either.

He'll get paid 100m or something for Paul Jake to use him as a punching bag, then that'll be all she wrote.
