I think I got a UTI?

Have no idea how.

I've just had this insane fever in the evening, "it" burns like hell, and the other symptoms reliably consistent with UTI's.

The fever is killing me, I'm tucked under two blankets, a fleece and woolly hat on, electric blanket up to the max and the heaters at tropical level, yet I'm still freezing.

Doc put me on an anit-biotic, said it would take two or three days to start working.

But what I can't come to terms with is how I got it?

Am I alone, or has anyone experience an inexplicable UTI out of nowhere?

Not really, a little stiffness and muscle cramping but not confined to that area.

I did get dome from what certainly appeared to me to be a hottie in a minimalist dress on St Stephens day, I think incubation period for STI's is a couple weeks so it's suspect.

I thought it was that initially but my doc seemed to think UTI more so.

Either way, that definitely sounds bacterial, good solid broad spectrum antibiotic should do the trick........ Hope you get better soon......

I'm smashing all those, they help a little but when the shivers come on good, I just have to ride it out.

With a bad fever, take a max dose of both tylenol and ibuprofen at the same time. And rotate them afterwards every 4 hours.
