On one day's notice, he went the distance with the most dominant LW in MMA. On top of that, Rogan's already laid the groundwork for the narrative that khabib was somehow "exposed" in this fight - a narrative that's already caught on in some circles.

If he were to go on to beat Tony (the man who should rightfully be the #1 ranked contender), the UFC could quickly spin it into a story that would have half the fanbase clamoring for them to give "full camp" Al a second shot at Khabib.
If you won't/don't see that, I think you're blind but I we'll have to agree to disagree.

Al only fought for the title because he was PHYSICALLY at the right place at the right time. His RANKINGS say otherwise. He's not top 10 so losing to the #1 guy doesn't earn him a fight with #2.
