Is the UFC killing their golden geese?
Remember how Dana treated GSP at the post-conference after the Hendricks fight? GSP said it was one of the reason for not coming back sooner. Let the man train for his damn rematch and if he wins, the hype train and super promotional machine that is Conor can start to roll again. He even cancelled his appearance in a movie just to focus on his fight with Nate, that's how serious he is. But if the UFC feels like punishing Conor or makes him an example, it will backfire on them with all the fans he brought along and compromise their relation with their #1 drawing star. I don't think after that episode that Conor will take it lightly. He will stop promoting or doing much less or might even try to get out of the ufc for another promotion or retire sooner.
Dana gave Ronda a well deserved break after her match with Holm. Like her or hate her, she popularized the sport like no one before. Conor did the same thing in a lesser extent. So just give him a damn promotional break like he wants. Hate him or like him, he deserved it.

I just want to watch him fight. I really don't care about the issues between him and the UFC.

I want to see what the people of Ireland who booked flights, expensive event tickets, hotels and took vacation time think of all this.

Your support means shit. Dana crushed Conor's ego and he will do as the bossman says or he will face the same consequences as so many before him did. Dana is GOAT.

So do I

But in fights that mean something

Like Edgar

And not a unnecessary rematch

They want him to promote the card, yet after this it's obvious he doesn't need to. Anything he says will get the attention out of everyone, no need for a road trip.

I understand both sides. I hope they work it out soon. Always will be a Conor fan no matter how much he annoys me sometimes.

Conor probably stands with his balls resting on the TS's forehead.

I stand with doing what you're supposed to do when you sign a contract to take a fight.

Part of it is promoting the fight.

Ask Nate's brother about that.

I support and applaud his dedication to improving himself. I support pretty much everything he said in his post. Only thing I disagree with, is when he said that doing promotion didn't get him this life, but fighting did. That's wrong. If he was just a fighter, not matter how good, he wouldn't be even 10% as wealthy as he is now. Sure, fighting is, and should be, the base for all of it, but I'm just saying that his statement is wrong.

But definitely kudos for wanting to improve, and being still more about the sport than the show. And props for sticking it to Dana in the process.

Agreed at its short-sighted by UFC because if you burn them out and they lose then they will lose their drawing power diminishes and that will hurt UFC pockets on the long run. Obviously you need some promotion but its a balancing act between selling a fight and not burning out your golden geese and I don't think UFC have got that balance right.

Fuck Conor. I stand with Nate - a real fighter that this Irish bum should be trying to learn from, instead of hiding out in Iceland with his crew of no talent knob slobbers
