I question Oliveiras Durability

Sure against most guys he can eat there shots and get his wins. But I honestly dont think he can handle the power of someone like a Conor, Dustin and definitely not Justin. Khabib would maul him too of course. He isnt the next champ..

He will make for a great gatekeeper at the top 5
Just like how Tony was going to “out strike,,
Out wrestle, out pace, And muscle him around”, right?

you have your opinion, which is fair, but I think Charles is more durable than ever before

I dont think Charles has the level of wrestling necessary to fully dominate him. Conors wrestling defense has improved alot. Obviously wasn’t enough for Khabib but its plenty good for everyone else in top 5.

Even if Charles gets him down. Conor has decent enough Jujitsu to defend and hold out for end of round. Eventually in the fight Conor would get a chance to crack Olivera and finish him. I really do question Oliveira physical durability to be taking hard shots. Especially wirh Justin dude hits so damn hard
Conor is naturally athletic and does have good TDD, but a round on the ground with Charles is almost certainly curtains for him. Charles is 3 moves ahead of most grapplers, he'll set a trap and catch almost anyone. Conor isn't going to let his arm get bent backwards to make it out of the round like that psycho, Tony. For sure standing Conor is the favorite, thats easy to agree with.

He just looks like a different fighter to me, suspiciously so.. I can't fathom how he just slams everyone at will now when he was getting flat lined by Cub Swanson once upon a time.. All credit to Swanson, love the dude but jeez.

I still question it too. We haven't seen anyone good test him. I think he'll find against quality guys. Just my opinion. I'll give him credit for beating Tony but yeah I don't see him pressuring top guys

Let's be real. He gets stopped by most guys in the top 5. They have way better TDD than Tony does. Do.Brox took Tony down so easy. He never really had to deal with the striking.

Cub hits hard though compare to Tony.

He's a guy who I thought would be washed out by his late 20s because of all the damage he took early in his career.

honestly he hasnt taken THAT much damage compared to alot of other fighters

he got TKOd by Cowboy, Cub and Max but he quit in all 3 by basically the first shot that really hurt him. He took damage against Frankie but Frankie isnt really much of a hitter. Most of his other FW fights he didnt take much outside of the Lentz fight. With Pettis it was more body shots. Felder was one where he took some serious shots with the GNP

Ya Charles is always gona fold when it gets tough and in the lw division it eventually has to get tough. He is very entertaining fighter and coming into his own but everyone seen him fold many times.

If Khabib did return he is probably the most interesting fight, he's flaky but dangerous.

Conor ain't won a fight in 4 plus years at LW and there is a reason for it and why he is mcchicken running from the divisions real contenders. Notice how he only fights at LW if it is for the belt, which he does not deserve at all, as he hasn't won at LW in 4+ years. Dana white using his white privilege, buddy buddy, ole good boy system.

Gaethje would be a nightmare i think.
Conor... Interesting. Y'all motherfuckers need to chill with the conor power tho. He hits hard but his first punch isn't gonna knock anyone out. Fight starts standing but he can be taken down. Khabib finishes charles tho.
Ps. My use of motherfucker is not an insult. It's a substitute for another word i use irl, which is a term of endearment, but still taboo.

Tf happened to Aldo then? Dumbass.

Conor can definitely crack, that left of his is money. He definitely has power when he wants to commit to it. Also Conor has a good TDD and is decent on ground. So doubt hes worried about Charles taking him down.

Worst case scenario Conor would survive a round on ground against Charles easy and then would fight would eventually get back on feet to where Conor can finish it with his Left.
You overestimate conor's wrestling and ground game. He can and has been taken down. He's not whittaker or izzy. Sure his tdd is good but it's nothing special.

Power? Sure but like i said it's not gonna be a one punch affair. Sure he very well can tko charles. But what i cannot stress enough is y'all need to get out of this conor is one punch kind of guy. He's not. It'll take a flurry or a sustained beat down for that to happen. That gives time to oliveira for his own offence. Plus one again gotta compare him to Izzy. Conor has good defence, great actually. But he still gets hit a lot...he could tko charles, but just as easily i could see charles taking him down and working him. So I'll concede that much that the stand up would be rough for charles.

But, this is where you're tripping. Conor has nothing on the ground for charles. Absolutely nothing. All his losses are subs and whenever he's taken down, he gets controlled and struggles. He was begging for the ref to get them back up against mendes. He had nothing for nate either. What could he possibly have for charles? You think in the 4 years he's been inactive, he somehow magically caught up to charles? Bruh please.

So conor ko is a possibility. A very very real one. But bruh lay off pcp, there is np one punch knockout, one minute knockout and if (IF, he could defend it) he gets taken down, he's getting fucked up.

Stop living in 2017. Its 2021 and Charles Oliveria best 155er not named khabib. Hes now filled out and a complete fighter ( for the 166th time ).

MMA fans are just the worst. A sports species phenomenon I've never seen.
Guy steps up to the plate... "conor would knock him out"...

Dustin and Conor beat him. I think he can get Justin down and sub him
