I no longer believe in Chael

I have no idea why anyone still believed in Chael after the Anderson rematch. Never seen anyone give up like that during a title fight.

Chael has never been great. Good but not great. Chael became "great" in some eyes after talking shit and beating a shell of Shogun helped. TRT also helped. Without it he wouldn't stand a chance against anyone in the UFC.

Chael was the biggest disappointment of the night. He was kicking his legs behind him like a helpless child. I don't even.

He's a fuckin Mw. Why the hell is he fighting at 205 for christ sake, it's crearly to everyone that he is too small for LHW.

His hole game is based on strength, he is a smart guy, he should be the first to know he should be taking fights against Jones or Rashad who are whey bigger and stronger than him.

He's acting like BJ Penn.

Funny... people used to say he was "huge for MW" and that he drained himself too much and would fare better @ LHW...

Perhaps (junt a hunch) those were just excuses the fanboys had for his losses...

I never expected Rashad to brutally smash him. I thought it would just be Rashad winning a wrestling match.

He finished shogun in his last fight.

You have your figures wrong.

that's just it, I love Shogun but beating Shogun in 2013 just isn't as much of a deal anymore as it should be unfortunately.

Rashad steamrolled him without breaking a sweat...that was brutal

never been a fan of Chael inside the cage though and I expected Rashad to be dominant

Chael Sonnen is the most irrelevant fighter to ever headline a card. He's never won a single fight of any importance. His claim to fame is almost beating Anderson (but blowing it). He should be remembered as the Bill Buckner of MMA.

He fades really bad when he cant manhandle his opponent and/or is really bad on the defensive. Rashad was a bad matchup for him

agree...
if he cant impose his will he fades... he doesnt adjust well in the middle of the fight...
against rashad its similar to munoz vs machida...
outclassed, totally on a different level...

Yeah he's lost 3 out of the last 4, but those losses were to pretty awesome fighters, and that win was super impressive, might have even been the only time Shogun has been subbed iirc. The Wand fight comes at a good time for him, should be a comfortable win for him.

he said that himself as well. I distinctly recall him saying its hell to cut down

All the turkeys can go ahead and leave.

You do it to every other fighter, so, why should this be any different?

I still support Sonnen. Win, lose or draw.

LOL @ anyone buying Shale's 29 karat gold sham nuggets in the first place. I have a timeshare in the Canary Islands to sell you.

How could you forget the Forrest upset?
