Arman choosing to be inactive until he gets a title shot is the opposite of what the ufc wants too. Imagine how inactive he'd want to be as champion. Other than merab literally no one has had their fight activity go up if you give them a belt.

The UFC is trying to avoid this in the new Paramount era

Arman will not get a title shot for that reason
Khamzat & Islam are enough as far as the UFC is concerned

Call me crazy, but I actually think Arman would chill out and fight more often if he was champion.

His problem right now is that he's holding out demanding a title shot. And he's hostile because he thinks he needs to act that way. Once/if he becomes champion, I think he will be more confident and act out less.

But hell, maybe I'm completely wrong and it would get worse. Who knows.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if that was the case, but he wasn't very active before either. He turned down a rematch with Islam multiple times, then demanded more than 6 months when he did accept, then pulled out the day before. He's gotten suspended for punching a fan and headbutted his last opponent at the weigh ins, which could have easily fucked that fight up too. Hard to be less active than Topuria, but Arman would sure try.
