First off Iet me say I am very neutral when it comes to Conor. But Conor was busting Nate the fuq up before he got tired in the 2nd round. I don't get why you think Nate will dominate him this time around. Just look at Nate's face again. If he uses his energy more efficiently I think he will handle Nate, the same Nate that got his ass kicked by Josh Thomson.
 
Dont waste your breath. Not only are these people biased, they also dont know what the fuck they're talking about. They dont even know what they're watching half the time when a fight is happening.

Enjoy the fights and ignore these people, youll have a lot more fun.

Personally I think its a close fight. I also think Nate is a very bad matchup for Conor's style, so I give him the edge.

If he didn't use all that energy in the first round he wouldn't have done so well.

Anyone who has watched combat sports for any appreciable amount of time knows that on any given night, anything can happen.
 
The fight is off. Conor is retiring, check his twttier.
 
Well I think a big part of why people think that is because of each guys preparation for the fight. Think about it like this. Conor had done a camp to fight the LW champion. So that was probably up there with the hardest that he'd ever worked in a camp. Plus he didn't end up having to cut any weight. So theres a solid chance that was the best Conor that has ever been.

Nate on the other hand was on a boat in Mexico tweeting pictures of tequila shots ten days before that fight.

So in your opinion who is most likely going to look better in the rematch? The guy who didn't have any camp or the guy who had one of the biggest camps of his life?

So, Nate had a slow start on a week and a half notice, Conor had been preparing to fight a five rounder for forever, Nate takes it easy in the first round but never looked in trouble and somehow Conor is going to be better this time around? I just don't see it. I like both fighters but Nate's striking is probably on par with Conor's, his ground game is light years ahead and he's the bigger fighter against a guy who has made his career off of being the bigger fighter. I actually don't think this one makes it out of the first round. Bruce Buffer's like, "Aaaaand still! The Conor McGregor belt champion, Nate Diiiiiiiaz!" Obviously that Conor belt stuff is ludicrous.

I think you're completely right but I don't think either Chad or Conor were gassed, I think they both got hit hard and that made them look like they were gassed. Either way you slice it, you're right, to believe from what we have seen that Conor has a chance against Nate is pretty crazy.

He was missing half his shots because he does not set them up, a good portion of the landed shots were partially blocked by Nates shoulder, Diaz brothers swell and bruise up at the drop of a jab.

He threw everything he had at a guy who had 9-10 days to train and could not do the job.

The reason conor's face was not as busted up was because he quit as soon as he started getting tagged. When you quit you can save face at least that way and claim some sort of victory.

Conor couldnt take that left hand shot, i think it will be different this time around tho but nate is tough matchup. The reach and height is somthing conor is used to having on his side
