We all know he is going to get 50-45'd if Dom can stay healthy enough to get there, but faber can get under doms skin in a way no one else can. They have a very comical advesarial connection that makes for great promotion. FAber wont get blown out and he will make the fight interesting at times, but id rather watch this than dillishaw again for now. I think TJ deserves this fight more, but id rather have some background juice, I dont think a tj rematch brings any juice to the table right now. I think this is also danas way of saying thank you to Faber for always being a company man, he knows this is literally his last chance and if he can somehow pull this off it will be a major feather in Fabers great career.
 
Have people seriously forgotten how close their last fight was?
 
I have a hard time believing Uriah can do what TJ couldn't. But i'm starting to believe Faber is really taking things more seriously this time since he borrowed his dad's suit for the press conference.
 
Look out for that eye poke/choke combo, Cruz can't dance away from that...
 
I think he deserves it. Who else does? Dillashaw would be the only argument, but fact of the matter is he lost and it wasn't an exciting enough fight to get everybody screaming for an instant rematch. Cruz vs Faber 2 was a way more exciting fight than the Cruz/Snake fight.

Urijah deserves just based off his career time accomplishments. It's a trilogy that absolutely has to happen, and Faber probably doesn't have to many left in him and I could see him retiring if he loses.

Best fight they could've made in my opinion. Pretty stoked for it
 
I think Faber has a few things going for him with this Fight. He absolutely dominated Cruz the first Fight. The second Fight should had gone his way based on control and damage. Plus, he obviously dislikes Cruz's attitude. And lastly, what a great opportunity for him to make a statement about the riff between him and TJ. If this can't motivate him enough to get the win at all costs, then as far as Title-contendership, it is over.
 
what the fuck? Dude is on a three fight winning streak at BW! A huge name and with history with Cruz! He fucking deserve this!
Tell me another match they could make right now? Only TJ vs Cruz AGAIN! fuck these immediate rematches!

I have to agree. Guys like Faber, Edgar and a few others are always top contenders and usually make the fights competitive.

I do think Dana appreciates his loyalty to the company and is giving him one last shot. He's got 24 fights under the Zuffa banner. He deserves it, not by his most recent fights, but by always being in the mix, being a company man and fighting anyone they put in front of him (at least I haven't heard of him ducking anyone).
 
Faber beats him 1arm guillotine and cruz dec him. faber on a win streak and should get this fight.
