Okay to try and help you understand - Would he out strike him under the kick boxing rule set?

“lmao”
I, like most people, don’t give a fuck about kickboxing so I don’t know… it was an MMA fight, scored like an MMA fight, and in that fight, Pereira got outstruck, as well as outgrappled, which is why he was backpedaling and doing nothing 90% of the fight

I usually tag lmao if I’m responding to something funny, or dumb, or both, sorry

Ank got tapped by Paul Craig and went to a split draw with Jan. Its not like there is some conspiracy against him. He's only stopped a single fighter in the UFC with a winning record, and that was just a hair over .500 Johnny Walker.

Alex fought Jan, undefeated Jiri and Hill.... explain exactly how Ankalaev fighting Jan was meant to be obstructionist to his career, but Alex fighting Jan was not.

Do you realize how contradictory / nutty that sounds?

Ank clearly beat Jan, he should have been champ for years now.

They’re only the best under the current ruleset which favours stalling clinchwork. Are they the most talented?

Poatan got dropped twice in a round. His best strike all fight was maybe a jab. Ankalaev sat in striking range most of the fight, and Poatan did nothing.

Ankalaev wanted to fight in Abu Dhabi vs Pereira. Pereira said no, and rightfully so.
This is not remotely true or addressing the issue. They booked Ank vs Racik and then booked Alex vs Khalil. You are telling me:
1) that Ank was offered a title fight and insisted it had to be in Abu Dhabi or he wouldn't take the fight
2) that Khalil was a reasonable contender for a LHW title fight
3) that the UFC didn't make Ank "Unavailable" so they could line up the Khalil Squash Match
4) That Ank who has fought 5 UFC fights in Las Vegas plus one in Texas and one in Virginia wouldn't have taken a title fight in Las Vegas against Alex?

Ank has fought in Europe, Russia, Abu Dhabi & a bunch in the states. The UFC booked Ank in Abu Dhabi. If they wanted to book him against Alex in Las Vegas he would have fought in Las Vegas. You know how you can tell? Because he fought 4 times in Vegas before being booked vs Racik and he FOUGHT ALEX IN LAS VEGAS last weekend. The UFC wanted to book Alex against and easy Showcase and chose a lesser kickboxer who is only a kickboxer. They hoped Ank would lose to Racik which can happen in MMA with a well rounded opponent at any time. Khalil beats Alex in only 1 scenario. Alex's loved ones are held hostage by a Bond villian in a remote volcanoe lair somewhere in the Pacific and threatens to drop them into a pool of lava filled with man eating Crocodillian-Shark hybrids that can swim in lava.

They try their very best to make who they want, but the best still rise to the top eventually

These fighters like Belal, or Ank who the UFC obviously doesn’t want to win and try to make it as hard as possible to win should remember to do things on their timeline

Don’t be like Aljo and let them push you into fighting O’Malley when you’re repeatedly saying you aren’t ready and take an L only to watch him sit for a year, lose, and get an instant rematch for no reason
Aljo didn't have a choice: they were going to strip him if he didn't fight.

That was blatant fight fixing, out in the open.

The last part made me laugh.

1) He did push for it.
2) It was a good fight. Not really balanced, but good. Alex wanted to be active probably.
3) We don't know about this.
4) Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't. Big money in Abu Dhabi and royalty treatment for Dagestanis/Muslims in a title fight scenario over there though.

Btw, I am just going by what Ankalaev said Sherbro.
