I just went to a Louis CK show with my parents AMA

Before we found out about the MeToo stuff I stopped watching him, his "joke" about you finding the love of your life, spending every moment together, investing your whole world in them and them eventually one of you dying just made me really sad.

<lmao><lol>[<dunn]

Overall I have always liked Louis CK with really only one exception. I enjoyed his Louie FX show for awhile until it took that weird turn and got more serious... or something (I forgot). Still remember that gal ordering Louis to "strap on the feedbag for 45 minutes".

Here Louis hosting SNL telling some real risky material that ended up killing instead of him getting killed. The snail crawled along the edge of a straight razor... and survived.

Saw him a year or so ago at the local casino and he killed it. All new material and I was surprised at how good he was. He's held up much better than Bill Burr.

He had two openers. One guy I recognized as "that guy from that thing". The other one was a female in baggy clothes and she was as painfully as unfunny as you can imagine a female in baggy clothes would be.

His bit about "There will never be NO pdfiles. It's just not on the table. A lot of you have kids, and some of them might grow up and fuck kids"
Is a fucking riot lol

I still remember this one time he was on Jay Leno about 15 years ago and he asked how many people watched the show and Jay said something like 4 million a night and Louis responded with something like “wow, so several hundred people watching us right now are going to die tonight” and Jay was like “what the Hell are you talking about?” And Louis explained that 4 million is such a large group of people that statically something like 300 people watching them that night were not going to wake up in the morning. Jay looked kind of shook but Louis was right. For whatever reason that bit has always stuck with me.

My favorite bit he ever did on Leno was this one

I don't think there's ever been a better opening monologue on that show in 50 years.
