Since I got Paramount +. I've been watching a few things on there thus far.

And going to the highest rated Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes is fun journey so far.

Both are incredible and very profound and emotionally moving episodes.

Anyone else seen these episodes?

My aunt was a major Trekkie and we watched all of the next generation together. I remember it being a fun show to watch. The movies where decent too. Unfortunately I don't recall these episodes specifically

It's really powerful episodes. It definitely shows why TNG was one of best shows out there.

If you ever have the opportunity to watch these two specific episodes. It's definitely worth the watch.

I still whistle the melody from inner light. One thing always bothered me though, is just how quick Picard slipped back into his normal life. Who could do that?? Tv magic but still… That would devastate anyone.

Yes. Both episodes are fantastic and I love them.

Is that the one where they go back in time to the wild west?

I'm supposed to get a free hookup for Paramount+. I'll give it a look see. I did go through all the movies over the last year or so, I still enjoyed it. Patrick Stewart is great

I've always wanted to get into Star Trek but it just feels overwhelming. There are so many episodes and different shows and movies.

Feels like I could waste half my life before realizing I don't like star trek

I've seen every episode of star trek from the original series to enterprise and also watched Picard seasons 1 through 3

Multiple times. Both are decent episodes, but nowhere near my favorites.

The visitor in DS9 is a superior emotional episode when compared to the inner light from TNG. But is ranked lower.

Truth is, all of DS9 is the best star trek lol. Every friend I've ever had who wouldn't get through season 1 and 2 because they didn't like the slow setup to the main story arc who I eventually talked into watching DS9 agreed its the GOAT trek series.

The easiest way to convince them was always to just play season 4 episode 1 in the background. Most of them didn't even realize worf was a permanent character for 4 seasons of that show. But when the klingon fleet attacks DS9 they couldn't tear their eyes away. Next Gen just didn't have the budget for those huge space battles.

Wife and I are doing a rewatch for me and an original watch for her of all of Star Trek. Hoping she gives up after DS9 as Voyager and Enterprise are pretty bad

Voyager season 1 and 2 had moments and potential. Even if it had the worst characters known to trek. It's bad when the generic Vulcan is one of the most interesting least annoying characters lol

Fully integrating the maquis part of the crew was stupid and ruined the concept.

They could have had a nice grey area show like DS9 with Infighting and friction but reverted to planet of the week like TNG except with total shit characters.
