I just realised... (GOT)

not holding out for much to be honest, D&D are so fucking lazy they could've at least copied one of the thousands of fan theories online and passed it off as their own. They couldn't be fucked to even do that.

Well they just aren't the same calibre writer as GRRM. Once they outpaced the books they basically started writing their own fanfiction.
The whole show is turning into fan service, and now they fully admit they are making decisions for the purpose of "subverting expectations", but yet they won't commit to killing off important characters.

Which was the reason why GOT became so popular anyway.

Seems to me that Cercei falling, but having Qyburn create a new race of white walkers in a failed attempt to save herself like the Children of the Forrest did seems like a decent way to end the show, as the whole thing comes full circle and shows that there's no permanent peace, only temporary respites from man's unyielding lust for power.

They're going to pull a St. Elsewhere with a paraplegic Bran waking up from a coma looking at the falling snow.

You know whats amazing, despite GOT being my favorite show of all time, I completely forgot about this guy and who knows how many others until reading this thread. Even still, I barelyyyyyyyyyyyy remember this dude. The show is just so complex with so many side story archs going on at the same time, plus the huge amount of time in between some seasons.

Basically I cant WAIT to rewatch the entire series the second the last episode is done. Other than the really big parts/epics scenes, it'll almost be like watching it for the first time I think.

Don't backtrack now, I see you.

Backtrack?!
You can label me whatever you want to, but it’s just you taking exception to a small post I made for fun.
We’re all friends here and whenever you post, yeah, there will be trolls. If that offends you so, it probably won’t work out. Would have thought I personally came at you to get that response.
But good call, I am originally from the USSR, so you got that right. Except for the part where I don’t bathe with other men

I literally didn't care, you've trolled yourself.

I would really love a twist where the NK is back but it feels unlikely. I also don't think Bran is leaving Winterfell anytime soon, it would be too cumbersome to take him anywhere let alone shuffle him down the Kingsroad to KL.
I think they forshadowed Qyburn figuring something out, he was far too interested in the body at the big meeting. The wight pretty checked all his fetish boxes. At this point it's possible Cercei becomes a queen of undead with his help. Who knows though, I really couldn't predict the last episodes ending so anything could happen.

Bring back Meera, she'll truck Bran anywhere. Seriously, they could take him by ship.

That the creepy FrankenDoc Qyburn in Game of Thrones is still alive, and he has an obsession for all things dead and potentially magical - seeing as he's a former Maester who probably read the same books as Sam at some point or another.

He was banished from the citadel for his "experiments" on live humans. He "resurrected" Gregor Clegane with what means we don't know yet, it is implied he used dark magic. It is also implied that he trained under the same Maester Marwyn the Mage that had trained the mad bitch Mirri Maz Duur who cursed Khal Drogo, he also entertained the notion of ghosts and dark magic in a citadel that is vehemently against the belief that it exists.

He popped into my head after I remembered Bran's vision of the Mad King screaming "burn them all", there's already too many known theories connecting it to "given" visions of the future whitewalkers and wildfire to come so I won't go over any of it again.

"What is dead may never die" has been repeated too much in the past couple episodes for me to look past it...Hell if "God of Death" from season 1 can come back to ring significance then what are the chances that what is dead may truly never die? The whitewalkers and army of the undead, at least the magic used to create them, surely then can never die?

Bran still has the mark on his arm, he's still autistically spinning around having prophetic tree dreams, what if he goes down to Kings Landing and Qyburn takes a certain liking to him? Or any of the wight bodies left behind from the battle and experiments on them? Potentially reawakening the magic that binded them all together.

Fuck it I don't know it's 2am and I'm bored. I don't want my blue boy to be gone just like that.

You’re definitely right with it not being a coincidence that they keep stating “what is dead may never die”. It sucks because I believe the Night King is gone in any real sense of physical danger to our characters but I think one of the last scenes we see is Bran looking into the past and the NK stabbing him and when Bran opens his eyes they begin to turn blue and fade to black.

There are 3 episodes left and I think the pacing will be E04 is a setup to the battle at KL, and E05 is the battle at KL. The finale will be a dramatic conclusion that ends with a crazy twist. Who knows but I hope the NK is somehow injected back into the story.

Meera was so slept on.

I don't think Bran warging into the crows during the battle was insignificant either, they didn't need to know where the Night King was, they already knew he was going to come to him regardless.

I think it's a given that Daenerys is pretty much pregnant or going to be and Jon's going to relinquish his right to the throne. That's probably as far as they'll go.

Can't wait to have a looong break and just marathon the shit out of it.

it’s possible Night King implanted himself into Bran and he’ll pull a Joker on everyone

That's not the angle - anything brought back from death is a wight.
How do you know this, and how do you know The Mountain was actually dead? Was he fucked up? Yes. Was he actually dead? I’m not so sure.

Dunno but Jon Snow is gonna kill the Mountain..

Its fairly cliche to say at this point, but episode 3 really bumped me. 'Winter is coming' for 7 years and the long night is like 30 minutes. Arya can literally fly and the Night King is a jabroni.

That being said, it means Cersi has to be the epic bad boss of the show. I wouldn't be surprised if Qyburn has been cooking up some additional Sir Gregor style wights. At a minimum there has to be some dark/evil preparations to counter the armies coming from the north as well as the two dragons she's expecting.

I feel somewhat confident The Hound and Sir Gregor are going to fight.
