Shoop I just met Alistair Overeem

… and he’s a really nice guy!
I also got to train with him and learned some nice things from the Reem.
He told me he’ll be making his Glory Kickboxing debut in September, potentially against Badr Hari as far as I could judge.

Here’s a picture of me and Alistair:

What's his favorite technique?

You had an open gym? It was a cuck session in gyms here. You could get drunk, stoned or whatever fuck shit. If you wanted to be fit, good luck. Gyms were shutdown.

A lot of migrated to the great outdoors. It was annoying at first. A. Ice change of scenery once you got into the routine. It was a good rest on my joints from weights. More calisthenics and circuit training. Many local clubs and mma gyms adapted or went bust.

Thanks for sharing man. Good luck with your training.
Yeah there was a time here were every gym was closed, but after some time gyms were allowed ro be open again and members were able to train, they were just not allowed to do group lessons.
Weird situation, but I tried to make the best of it.
Thanks man, you too

Do you live in Florida or Texas?

I never wished to be American the past few years.

That's awesome man. Are you planning to go pro or do you train just for the love of it?

I live in the Netherlands man
For now I just train for the love of it, probably got a fight coming up early next year. Will keep you updated

If I remember correctly it was the left bodykick to a straight right hand.
Simple and effective technique, Reem style
In Los Angeles it seems like everyone from Scandinavia just LOVES to fight. Not thuggish, but how I always assumed Irish blokes would be. I understand that you’re from the Netherlands, what’s up with the Swedish, Norwegian, & Danish. I’ve been to several gyms and every Scandinavian is ultra scrappy. Are they known for that?

Well, ironically I trained at an old-skool boxing gym in Sweden for some time hahah.
What do you mean with scrappy tho? Like tough, gym warrior type of guys?

I mean, is a scrap outside the pub, no big deal. And are they just scrappy, by nature? Meaning, they don’t mean anything by it, they just love to scrap.

An actual 6'4 250 lb sherdogger
Every user here that posts a picture is gigantic in real life. I think there's enough evidence to suggest that the vast majority of all Sherdoggers are 6' 3"+ and 230lbs and lean. There is also evidence to suggest they are dumb and cannot figure out attachments using a computer, which is why like.....3 people have posted pics next to huge fighters.

My bedroom looks like this, only instead of pictures of Alan, it's Maurits, the pleasure doll too..

I also have the full face tattoo on my abdomen.

Its how all sherbros show appreciation for eachother.

Yeah they sure as hell were scrappy then. Lot of good boxers, tough guys who liked to bang. Very knowledgeable coaches, had a great time there.
I also noticed that a lot of Russian guys trained over there.

Cool story about my time in Sweden:

At the beginning of 2020 I went to Sweden for an internship, training at a boxing gym everyday, mainly with a guy from Chechya, called Mohammed.
He was my main sparring partner and became my buddy over there.
At the time, he told me that a good friend of his was going to make his UFC debut, which I thought was really cool (he told me this around March 2020).
Unfortunately COVID shortened my internship, so by april 2020 I returned to the Netherlands.
Around July 2020 a Russian guy debuted in the UFC and he reminded me of the stories Mohammed told me (plus he really impressed me), so I decided to text him about it and that’s when I found out Mohammed and Khamzat were best friends and I just missed out on meeting one of the UFC’s hottest prospect’s.
Down below I will post the conversation between me and Mohammed (Khamzat’s friend) at the time.
After all it’s a special story I think…
