Not sure whether or not you prefer your avi stretched like that... but If your avi was cut to square, the "Sherdog Avi" software wouldn't expand it like that & make her look "thick." If it can't be cut square, then most shoopers can add transparent sides to it in a PNG file so that it will look more natural.
