That would be a fairy-tale ending to a great career. They could make a movie about him then in 10 years time.
 
People act like DC didnt send Jones mouthpiece flying out of his mouth in the last fight. Jones was lucky he had a chin built out of steroids.

Steroids don't make your chin stronger.


I do not wish to see these two ever fight again.
 
DC is one of the most successful mma fighters of all time. However, his fights/story have been lackluster for the most part. They would never make a movie about him even if he did beat Jones. Despite all of the controversy around Jones, and regardless of whether or not it's fair, DC will never be seen as "the guy" by the general public. /Thread
 
I hope not. Because if Jones get the penalty he deserves. DC will be retired before Jones even returns.

And I’m not interested is watching a cheater fight again anyway.
 
Even if he wins, it would be 2 to 1.
Regardless, DC views his two loses as genuine so he will not get it through. JJ will still be the GOAT in his eyes.
 
I don't see DC fighting at all after fighting Stipe. I'm somewhat certain it will be his last fight, win, lose or draw. Well, maybe there would be a rematch in case of a draw. But other than that I believe it's over for him. Why? Because by the time he's done with Stipe...

  • He's close to 40 and he seems quite adamant about retiring by then
  • He's the LHW champion
  • He's had his shot at HW championship (maybe even won it)
  • He's coached TUF
  • He won't want to stay at HW because of Cain
  • He won't be bothered to go back to weight-cutting after having a fight without it

Plus I believe DC will be retired way before Jones gets to fight again anywhere, let alone in UFC. Although people have made comebacks for lesser reasons.

Tom doing that is more likely than DC beating Jones.
 
Currently under USADA, DC is 20-0-2NC

DC is yet to actually fight a "clean" Jones so its hard to tell but 1 of the "wins" Jones has over DC is deemed a NC under USADA due to multiple failed drug tests that include Steroids, Turinabol, Clomiphene & Letrozole.

DC very well could be 2-0 over a "clean" Jones in this USADA era.
 
DC has 1 fight left after Stipe if he really does retire at 40.
Jones should be banned then so it's very unlikely to happen.
 
Jones is DC's Kryptonite, you want his career ruined?

If he faces Jones again, he'll lose again. Probably even worse the third time.
