I gave parker rds 2, 3, 4 and 7...rd 8 was even. lackluster fight that exposed AJ shortcomings. He's a very good fighter, but nothing special.

Once again, i don't know what fight the judges were watching...their scores were just plain bad...must be some of that home-cooking we hear so much about.

I didn't see the postfight interview, but i heard AJ called out wilder...kinda weird he would do that...i mean wasn't AJ complaining about wilder talking too much smack to the point that he and his team made demands that wilder not even be allowed to get in the ring after the parker fight?

and after all that he's gonna call wilder out in the post fight interview?...after a crappy performance like that?

Looking at AJ's last three fights, parker, klitchko and takam, it's clear he'll just never be ready for wilder...klitchsko gave him a life and death war and kltichsko was an old, ex-champ coming off a loss...takam, the old trial horse, gave him a struggle and parker gave AJ an competitive if mostly uneventful distance fight...i think AJ has reached his potential..that means NO wilder fight...maybe in 3 years when wilder's over the hill and IF AJ is still around...otherwise, AJ won't fight wilder. If the does, he'll lose, likely by KO and likely early.

How did you not give Parker rds 5 and 6 those were his best rounds of the fight

don't know....just didn't see it that way...i scored it round for round and right now i really don't remember rd 5 and 6 that much...seems like a lot of the rounds were the same....AJ stalking, parker circling and popping the jab with the right hand at the ready...don't think there were more than 10 moments of sustained action in the whole fight.

You know absolutely nothing. AJ was the aggressor and outstruck Parker in EVERY round. It could easily have been 120-108.
You say that "AJ is a very good fighter, but nothing special." - truly words spoken by an uneducated moron. And please me how AJ was exposed. He boxed 12 rounds without being hit clean once by a faster opponent. He controlled the distance and landed punches. The only thing that can be held against him is that he wasn't entertaining. A 10-0 version of AJ would have KOed Parker.

You gave the only rounds parker probably won to aj?

Ajs best rounds were 1234.. You know Anthony Joshua was the black guy?

Yea, i'm disregarding your opinion.

I haven't watched the fight as my laptop is broken and I don't have internets at home yet I share this opinion that Wilder must be the favorite out of the two. AJ is hyped a little too much at this point.

This is a little embarrassing.
Parker had rounds 567 the rest was joshua.
And to say it was a crappy performance is just plain dumb.
It was not a exciting fight but far far from crappy. Two unbeaten world champions went at it. And one boxed..you know actually boxed a very controlled fight .
Forget wilder for now. But dude you need to edjucate yourself on boxing.

I think the problem here is that we saw the fight differently from each other...you probably watched an english-language broadcast in the US or UK. I watched a foreign language broadcast from where I live in central asia...since i don't speak the language in which the fight was broadcast over here, i had to watch and judge for myself who was winning each round. ON the other hand, you were being told by the announcers who was winning each round...so, you weren't using your own judgement or really analyzing what was going on with any mental effort. my assessment is based on watching and paying attention, whereas yours is based on what you were being told by the commentators the broadcast.

If i didn't give parker rounds 5, 6 and 7 it was because it was how i saw the fight using my own judgement.

I listened on the radio and had it a TKO in my books.

Don't be so stupid..
I've been watching boxing all my life and no matter what language it's in I make my.own judgements on what's happening.
Nice try to work your way out of your original post.
But the general consensus and most boxing pundits saw the fight the same.
So you would be the one single lone voice trying to correct the rest.
Fact remains parkers best rounds were 5/6/7....
Du bist eben doof.ja

I thought Joshua won pretty comfortably, although it was a lacklustre performance.

Its funny that you're criticising AJ for going life and death with Wlad when Wilders best win was him going life and death with Ortiz, who is probably even older than Wlad in reality.

Lol weak af to call it a call out. Dude tip toed around that question all night was pressed as fuck any time they brought him up. Answered with a 100 reasons why not and then finally in the second post fight interview says "I want Wilder.....or Fury." cringey af tbh

AJ often talks about himself being a work in progress, but I do wonder how much better he can get - he’s had top class coaching for years now, and by all accounts works hard and listens to what he is told, but technique and skills wise is he really coming along?

The biggest problem I see is his stiffness and lack of fluidity, and that could be hard to coach out of someone at this stage of their career.

Edit: Is he ready for Wilder? Sure, but it could go either way.

Wilder-Joshua has the making of a fight that will end early.

People (casuals) tend to claim that big boxing fights are 50-50, but rarely will they base their chances off of actual boxing logic. It's the middle ground fallacy. They predict from hype and what they WANT the fights to be instead of what they really are. See Mayweather vs Pacquiao for reference.

The truth about Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua: Wilder has at least a 70% chance to win, and if AJ wins it will be within the first four rounds, before he gets figured out and tired. AJ doesn't have the speed or head movement to survive against Wilder, and he is ALWAYS in line for the right hand, almost to a comical extent. He isn't going to take away Wilder's jab or right hand like Luis Ortiz did, because he's not as technical as the generic description from casuals makes him out to be. He isn't as fast as his youth or training footage would imply, nor is he this expert reactive counter-puncher that these dumbass UK fans pretend he is. This is an easy fight for Wilder and when the fight is actually signed and close to happening I will explain in FULL detail why.

nah...you're fulla sh*t....you were influenced by the commentary...its obvious from your post and you're too dumb to realize you even admitted it.

look, dude. you're clearly a joshua fan. and you're frustrated he stunk out the joint saturday night...but that's anthony joshua's fault...because he's just not that good. don't go lookin to take your frustrations out elsewhere....don't try and rationalize his mediocrity...the person you should be mad at is joshua...vent your disappointment at him and his lousy performance. i'm just a dude on the forum sharing my opinion.

after the parker fight, i don't see joshua or hearn wanting ANYTHING to do with wilder...not in the foreseeable future. They wanna hold onto them titles and talk shit...but they will NEVER...and i repeat, NEVER, EVER...EVER.. FOREVER EVER?.. FOREVER EVER!...get in the ring with wilder...it would be the equivalent of willingly submitting to a beating while giving up the titles and the chance to make millions of dollars to boot...its not a good business decision...it's not gonna happen. not in this lifetime.

Dont think the Parker fight has any real bearing on a fight with Wilder.

Cant see Wilder and AJ arent coming out to box. Theyll come out to knock the others head off.
