So we got a new guy in office, i was gonna explain to him how we do things around here.
I go here is your desk... here is the printer... bla bla bla... and if you are thirsty you just push this button here and a robot with a glass of water will roll up to you.

After that i went back to my desk and watched him for like a minute as he was pushing the button.

Next time we will get a new guy i will go with Leprechaun instead of robot, if he then still tries to push the button i will lose faith in humanity forever.

So would you fall for it? Are technologies in 2018 make robots in office believable? Is the new guy retarded?

I work in a closed environment so I can’t take pictures. All it does is go around with trays that have bottled water a few times a day. It’s not on demand though. More of a novelty than anything else. Looks like motorized airplane service cart.

It's settled. The robot's aren't coming for all of our jobs.

Minimum wage goes up, McDonald's has newly installed walk in kiosk to order and pay via credit card. Much faster compared to waiting in line even if I have to press a bunch of times to complete my order. I think I ordered and picked up my food while people were still waiting in line to order the normal way.
