Not as cocky as he was as a lhw he is facing the HW champion never faced a HW on this level I think Stipe will ko him in the first round

DC's boxing is better than JDS'. Im more worried about DC wilting over 3-4 rounds than of Stipe blowing him out of the water with teh pugilisms.

Agreed. He was so shook he got taken down by a stationary speaker.

DC was badly hurt against most of his recent HW fights: Jones, Rumble, Gus: Volkan. Stipe is a HW with legit KO power from JABs.

I dunno about first round KO though but I know for sure Stipe would fuck him up win or lose.
 
Reality is setting in. This time the KO will count
 
DC wants to setup a big money match at HW with Jones but a loss to Stipe kills that, along with any real legacy, at least to the causal fan. Who knows if he is nervous but losing to Stipe and never beating Jon doesn't help his GOAT story.

No shit he's fighting for a second belt against a guy that has hands made out of osmium, that could sleep him with any connection.
DC has clear path to victory and defeat.

I believe any sane human being gets nervous before a fight... I am sure there a few sociopaths out there competing in combat sports but for the most part nerves are part of the package.

Whether or not a fighter shows them is an entirely different question.
