There is no way Brock will take any of Hunt's punches. Sure Brock always has the chance to rush him and try to demolish Hunt but I think even in a scene where Brock is able to take Hunt down Mark will be able to sustain the punishment Brock will be dishing out Hunt is one tough SOB. All it will take is one clean connection and it's night night for Brock. I don't see any way Brock winning this fight..........

I think you'd be surprised.

This is what will happend if Brock tries his TD2GNP

Then this...

McCorkle pulled guard and tapped Hunt.

I know what you're saying TS, but I honestly think this fight's a 50/50, and I'm torn between the two.

Thing is, Mark Hunt is good at defending double legs... but not that great at scrambling. Lesnar has got to know that he can't stand with Hunt long before Hunt is going to find his chin. If Lesnar can get Hunt to the ground without taking shots... he can win the fight there.

Long post short... I got Hunt, but I'm really not that confident about the outcome. And Vegas odds are not that far off from what I'm thinking. Hunt is a slight favorite.

What is with ppl way over-rating Brock TD2GNP

His TD is 55% effective, that means they only work half the time and in his last 3 fights they were negated almost entirely.

Couldn't take down Uberreem who has no wrestling pedigree.

PPL act like they're Hendo's H-Bomb, Fedor's casting punch, Cro Cop's LHK or Big Country's overhand right, that can end fights in a second... when they only worked well on Mir once and retirement ready Herring.

It was one win over Mir and you ppl act like it's the ultimate MMA weapon. The guys just another Bob Sapp. Being big and strong only gets you so far.

Lol at making out like everyone that fought overeem has put him on his back with TD's

Brock did one time take Shane Carwins massive punches and then end up finishing him....

You can't ever be too sure, especially when it comes to HW's. No such thing as a sure thing and all that.

I noticed you quite a few times now, with topics and post all about how Brock will lose and get hurt.

So you're saying Hunt is easy money then?

Exactly. I wouldn't bet this fight, that's just me though.

....

The thing is, Hunt is terrible at getting back up. So if he gets taken down, Brock will make sweet sweet Lunchbox Fist Love to his face.

This is really a classic grappler vs striker battle, with HW power thrown in for that extra unpredictable element

I would if I had money. Hunt easy money. There's only one way Brock winning and that's if Hunt's chin has given out suddenly, which can happen from many battles and unfortunately at any time.

That is the only variable in this fight that is unpredictable.

If Hunt n chin are in any shape like he was with Bigfoot, no freaking way Brock even gets close. He could GnP and run the 2" away from your face micro-hammerfists on him for 2.5 RD's and Hunt'd just keep on going till he gets the KTFO.

He is a lot more skilled then Sapp and I would say he is a better athlete too.

Just the level of his grappling.. then you add his physicality and that my friends is maybe a top 3 HW grappler... Werdum/Lesnar/Barnett I repeat grappler that includes wrestling, tk, tkd, clinch, top control, subs, subs defense, getting back up and ability to put them down.. a combination of all of this and if Lesnar performs well with a TK into Sub I'm thinking more will agree with this.

I'm more worried about Hunt. If Lesnar loses it's likely a walk off KO type deal or at least very quick, minimal damage ending.

Did you see what Stipe did to Hunt? Now imagine a man 30-40 pounds heaver and way stronger and more powerful doing that. It'd be very hard to watch. Hunts a 41 year old man and has taken a ton of punishment to the head.

It all comes down to a matter of can hunt stop the take downs. If he took it serious and can stop them then he will win easy. If not then its up in the air.
