Because I bet on him to get the finish in all my bets and it cost me 1500
"That flurry at the end he had less impact than it was made out to be".
Well i can do the same : those shots Jan threw during the third round had less impact than it was made out to be. They were all partially blocked, while Pereira's shots (body shots, strong jabs, lots low kicks) landed.
I guess it's a matter of individual perception then
I know what your talking about and I agree but i mean the final bell he just sat against the cage like he lost. Then when they read the decision,he acted surprised that he lost.
Poatan after the bell stayed standing with his arms raised. It aint over til its goddamned over.
Pretty much this, and the TD in the last moment should have sealed it for Jan. Even in round 2, this may not be a popular opinion, but I think that flurry at the end he had had less impact than it was made out to be. He landed a few good shots, but not much landed clean or really hurt Jan. Not to mention Jan landed the better shots early in the round and took Alex down and controlled for nearly 2 mins.
click on round 3 and learn reading comprehension dumbass. Alex landed 12 head strikes Jan landed 20. That is using your own link
You are the one who said to use the stats not me. Then when it backfired you resort to "the stats don't matter." You can not have it both ways. Jan was not ready to go in the 3rd round. Alex was stuck in mud the 3rd round. The 3rd round was pretty even at worst for Jan on the feet and the take down should have secured the win. I like Jan and wanted him to win, but I did pick Alex in my fanduel lineup which ended up tying me for 2nd place out of over 7k people. I am not mad alex won, but Jan deserved itHead strikes aren't the only things that matter, idiot.
And if one fighter lands 20 head strikes (that don't do shit), and the other lands 12 head strikes (that wobble his opponent), who do you think was more effective?
You're literally too stupid to debate with.
Alex won, Jan lost.
Alex had Jan ready to go ... in the second ... and in the third ... while Jan only had a good first round.

Alex beat Izzy multiple times. There’s no reason to think he wouldn’t againJan and Alex are much bigger than Izzy, to be honest. Plus Alex faced an opponent who was two years older than when he faced Izzy.

Becasue mma fans are fickle P(s)OS - he did good, did the most damage, survived against a far superior grappler, pushed forward the whole fight, negated jan's so-called great leg kicks while landing the majority of his. He is winning and thriving despite obvious deficiencies in his overall all mma skill set. He willing to learn and is humble.I think it was a great performance.
He had just went up a weight class and survived a hard first round against the #3 guy of the division, the former champ Jan Fuck*n Blachowicz.
Jan is always a problem. He forced Gus to panick wrestle, drew Ankalev (one of the best challengers), and sent Adesanya, one of the greatest MW of all time, back to his division without too much concern.
Alex overcame a difficult moment on the ground, and showed he can defend and conserve his energy.
People are saying Jan was gassed but why not mention Alex's impressive cardio? It was the perfect test for him at LHW and i believe he passed it.
