Some sherbros mentioned that they are not interested in watching Colby fight, I find that hard to believe seeing as Colby have promoted himself in a really really bad light. Explain to me why please.
For me, I would love to see him fight, either he wins/lose it would be fun to see how he will turn out to be. He is the super-heel that a guy like Tyrone(with the criticisms that he has) need to be a hero in the eyes of the fan. You gotta admit that his schtick is working no matter how cringey and classless the things he is putting out there is.

1. he's boring. really, really boring
2. his trash talk is forced and cringey. worst in the entire UFC
3. his wins have not been dominant/very unimpressive. eeked out a striking contest with Maia to earn his spot, but if you look at him fight you'd be surprised if someone told you he's in the top 10 of the WW, let alone top 3

I thought you would try to make a case about him being talented. The reason you mentioned is what would bring casuals to watch him more than hardcore fans. That said he is not an interesting heel, because he's cringey as you said and his actions scream "I am trying to become a heel and make people watch me" - which is not how you get to become a hated heel.

The most entertaining thing his fake heel routine brought us was getting him boomeranged in the face and running to the police - pretty funny for someone acting as a bad guy who incites fights. Which then again takes credibility off of his heelness.

It def does not interest me at the least. If one is a casual, not grasping what Martial Arts is about and enjoys WWF antics, then yes, it will interest them. But like you see actual fighters and trainers saying, they think Colby is corny, a dork, and a cop caller in the end, while saying he and his antics aren't what this sport should be about.
