Kelvin is world champion level at welterweight. Easily top 5.

At middleweight, he's going to be fringe top 10, despite it being a much thinner division. He's just too small.

If we added a 165lbs division and shifted welterweight up to 175lbs, he would make the jump. I don't see him making 170 again unfortunately. His career will suffer for it.

He should be taking the time now to cut the extra weight while adjusting his body correctly so he’ll keep his power and speed going down a weight class. Try it and see how far you can go but staying at MW won’t end well for him imo.

Neither will going to Welterweight. I love Gastluem but he ain't beat Colby, or Usman any time soon. He may actually beat Adesanya if can work his way back up the ladder
