I don't understand why everyone is saying that Jones is gonna run through him. I respect the fuck out of Jones, and I don't even really hate him that much anymore. But still, he needs to lose. The first fight, DC was in it, but he couldn't take the beating Jones put on him those first 3 rounds. If DC can keep that pace up, he can win the fight. Seriously. I think that was the first time anyone ever hit him like that and he felt that level of punishment, and it gassed him. Now, he knows what to expect and he's been through 2 wars with Rumble and Gus especially.

I think he's much better prepared for a rematch. I don't see how Jones is gonna come in with over a year off, ring rust will be a factor... Arlovski says he doesn't see him in the gym (according to Joe Rogan last podcast). I don't buy that Jones is some new person that is only training all the time. DC has gotten better, gained valuable experience, Jones will be the same, maybe gas more easily with the extra muscle he's put on.

I can't wait for this fight.

Dude... I might cry. I would be so happy if DC can beat him. I guess maybe I'm just holding on because I don't see any other challenges.... DC has to be the one -- IT'S DESTINY, DAMNIT!
 
Such a close fight and everyone talking about how DC has no chance.

It's TJ vs Barao all again. Not the fight but the talk about it.
 
Honestly, I am excited for the fight BUT I think Jones is the best fighter on the planet heavyweights included.
 
Yea I'm looking forward to the rematch as well. I want to see how the layoff affects Jones. I thought Jones won the first fight clearly, but Daniel had his moments for sure. He had enough moments to make me believe that he could possibly upset Jones. I still think Jones wins though.
 
It's going to be better & closer than the first i'll tell you that. Champ DC is here to stay ;)

DC fought poorly in the first fight chasing Jones straight into his counters. If he cuts angles and stays patient, I think he can win. Or at least, will make it a lot harder on Jones
 
I believe DC can win it and am rooting for him.

Jones is getting the better of him in these recent verbal exchanges though. DC needs to get back to his Incredulous ways.

I am really excited for this one too but for different reasons and I'm not just trolling here. DC has had some success since Jones has been gone but to think he is good enough to beat Jones now is almost laughable. That first fight was 4 rounds of one sided drubbing and one close round that should have gone to DC. That is a one sided fight. To think that in the years a fighter declines that DC has improved a ton is crazy. If you haven't been following Jones and you feel it will be close is not too bad but if you've been following him and seen how crazy his training regiment has become and still think that DC has any chance you are crazy. Jones is going to push DC against the cage and then knee, elbow and upper cut him until either DC taps to strikes or goes unconcious.
 
DC had time left for a KO and he chose to pursue a takedown just to prove and meaningless point. Even he had given up on himself.

He lost me with that fight, and now he walks around like he's the champ...

Plus he's working as a professional analyst, but he picks every AKA guy to win no matter what. Its almost as bad as asking a Brazillian fighter if they thought their countryman won, or who deserves a title shot.

This will be the first time I've rooted for Jones

Only negative would be that there really wouldn't be much left to do at LHW if Cormier wins, except a trilogy with Jones. At least if Jones wins we will get to see Rumble/Jones.
 
I'm pretty excited for the fight.

But Jones will come out on top again.

I do. Rumble vs jones is a much more intriging fight. especially because we wouldn't be watching it for a 3rd time.
