Crazy I even made a prediction for this fight on here and I almost forgot it was happening till I saw weigh ins. Why does the UFC keep continuing to do this and only promoting a handful of fighters? This is about as exciting a matchup as u can get

Mighty Mouse on all the promos but not this. What planet are we on?
(Yes I know MM is a title fight but this is only the next fight down in the card, it should be included)

I agree they dropped the ball. The UFC leadership and marketing dept must have been so consumed with McGregor-gate that they failed to notice a potential fight of the year. Grade-A embarassment in my opinion.

its crazy how much fighters popularity swings from win to loss - pettis was seen as a future star with mainstream appeal etc - two decision losses later and its like hes a nobody - im pretty excited for that fight though, to the ufc's credit, they have so many exciting fights coming up they cant hype them all it seems

I'm more excited for this fight than any fight announced for 200.

This fight could Easily headline
a Fight Night or
UFC's FightPass™( of which I am a current subscriber, Jealous?)

Pretty sure they've all but given up on Anthony Pettis.
Yep. After being on the shelf for so long then dropping 2 in a row, UFC is about burned out trying to promote him. If he gets a flashy KO tonight, you'll likely see some push from the UFC for his next fight, whenever that may be.

the Khabib vs Ferguson fight the fight i was most looking forward to. but this fight will do just fine. real fight.

Ufc doesn't promote fighters until they promote themselves first.

I think this has been pretty obvious for a while.

they rather spend the money all on Conor who would get beat by both Barboza and Pettis

Because Pettis needs a couple wins before they put him back on the Wheaties box..

GOAT 1 vs OSP
GOAT 2 vs Cejudo
Pettis vs Barboza

It doesn't need anymore promotion.

they are busy training and dieting and feeling like shit. so they don't have the time or energy to think up nice little quotes for neckbeards to repeat on sherdog.
