I bought a Subaru

White liberal woman driving a Subaru
I haven't driven it so that's false. Is my husband a white liberal woman?
I know you have a problem with me, calling into question that I spell correctly but you're hanging by a thread here, treacle.

Nice. Now you gotta stop shaving your body hair and let your head hair turn into dreadlocks (preferrably with some random colors sprinkled into the locks). Get yourself some decent hiking boots and wool socks too to wear with your cargo shorts as you travel around with your lesbian lover.
She bought a Subaru, she's not becoming a wachowski sister or anything lol

I've worked automotive the last 4 years, rarely ever saw a Subaru needing much more than an alignment, and the oil filters are often right on top next to the oil spout. The ideal set up as far as filters go

Anecdotal I know, but they seem consistently reliable.

What makes sense? What do you know about my driving?

Enough to remind you that they drive on the right over there Lou x.

Slightly worrying that showed up on my feed earlier. About 20 seconds in...

I bought a 2025 Subaru Forester this year. I like it so far. The only thing I don't like is the crappy soft windshield. The new windshields are thinner because of the camera eyesight thing. I had my windshield repaired for chips in the first week. Yours is older so hopefully it's better.

I didn't know about the Lesbian connection until I bought mine. I guess I'm a Lesbian just like you. Congratulations on your Subaru purchase.
Yeah my Honda windshield cracks if you look at it the wrong way.

Pisses me off. I've already replaced it once and a little rock kicked up 2 months later and cracked it again. Too big to be repaired so I've just been living with it and watching it grow because I refuse to get a windshield replaced twice in the same year.

In my research I've found that Subarus also have shit windshields.

But cuffs got a 2013, so she's probably good on that front. I didn't think they started using the shitty thin ones until the last 5 years or so

That makes sense, Subaru drivers are constantly one of the the top 3 worst drivers in the country
You can add prius to the list since that’s the car my wife drives

Haha, my best Sherbro said the same thing when I texted him. I didn't know it was a thing till he told me about the memes.
Really? It's not really a stereotype in Australia, but I know that it is in the US.

When I saw the title, I immediately thought... well I'm sure the comments are going to be interesting on this one <lol>

But you now understand the reasoning, correct?

Yeah he texted back saying his mate had bought an Explorer or somesuch and he filled his texts with memes, his mate went to a 7-11 and there was some fat butch lesbo got out of her Subaru with some attitude and texted my mate full of lols.

Yeah, absolutely. If you're just after something reliable to drive around occasionally, it's pretty hard to go past the big Japanese brands. It should definitely fill that role without issue. I've owned four Japanese cars myself and they were super reliable... even the way that I drove them.

Pattern recognition. If people see the same thing over and over again, it just becomes a cliche or meme... can lead to some good quality laughs, especially if people aren't in on the stereotype.

It isn't just the reliable thing. I'm petrified about driving being I haven't in years so a Subaru is pretty much the best thing to coax me out of my driving retirement with all the safety.

At least you won't be driving in a super crowded area of California this time. Like riding a bike, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'll see next week.
I was supposed to drive to Pasadena to see Oasis with a friend and it didn't happen because I was too scared to drive a hire car or the X5.

The longer people leave it, the more anxious they will get about driving. I don't think my mum has driven in about 15 years now and is unlikely to drive ever again.

You'll probably jump in and within 5 minutes, realise it's no big deal and you were worried about nothing.
