He was severely injured in their first bout. He even went to major surgery right after fight and basicly couldn’t wrestle whole camp. I think O’malley doesn’t just beat Merab on feet but also outwrestles him. He had his moments in first bout and he was only 30%. Merab is very good but when O’malley is healthy and on point he doesn’t just beat Merab but finishes him brutally.

I actually hope he does. Not a huge fan, but I think overall he would be a more exciting champ than Merab.

Not so sure that will happen though, Merab will be tough to beat.
I'm not saying he's easy by any means, but that's just a horrible match up for Sean. I believe his excessive weight cutting and breaking bones every fight is going to put him past his prime if he's isn't already.

Petr Yan was able to takedown Sean at will. Sean's td defense just sucks his hip injury doesn't excuse that. Merab is gonna dominate him again

How can he dominate him again, when he didn't dominate him the first time?? It was a close fight that came down a very close first round. 48-47 is not domination.

While Merab had success in taking Omalley down 6 times, he also failed on 9 attempts. So Omalley's TD defense is not what you make it out to be. Merab had success early, and then Sean starting defending TDs very well as the fight went on. Round 3 he stuffed all 5 attempts.

He has a much better chance this time. Merab's gameplan was very specific for Omalley. Fought different than he usually does. Zero striking with Omalley. Just try to get Omalley to throw anything and then counter-shoot for a TD. Omalley didn't bother to throw teeps until the last round and they actually worked and hurt Merab.

It is really Merab's fight to lose. If he approaches very similar to first fight I don't really see different outcome.

But I could see Merab standing a little more with O'Malley this time around trying to prove a point.

Proud of O'Malley for seeing, then making, the changes in his life style he realized were keeping him from being the best fighter he could be. A KO of Merab, or anyone Sean now faces, may be coming.

War Merab & War O'Malley, Let's F'n Go !

Could O'Malley win? Sure, even brutally as you mention.

Does he straight up outwrestle Merab? Not a fucking chance.

Are you the guy who makes these type of threads, in hope of one happening and you look smart?

I never thought I wood be rooting for Tech-69 but Merab is so damn boring, annoying with his 200 takedown attempts(succeed on 12) en route to a decision, that I will be rooting for Rainbow Bright 🌈
