I felt this way from the moment I actually started to interact with the opposite sex outside of the Sears catalogs when I was a teenager.

I mean, superficially, I will see a hot chick or watch porn and be all like "Fuck, I would hit that shit like their is no tomorrow". In reality, I like to get to know people on a much deeper level before even diving into anything else.

I can see where you're coming from but I'm not there yet. I'm still in the phase where it's just physical for me. Of course, there are compromises I wouldn't make e.g. she can be super good looking but if she's got an annoying voice, that's an automatic red card.
