The last time I got a phone call and was supposed to be getting money and a Mercedes. I was supposed to send a postal money order to an address on a Nevada Indian reservation. The postal inspectors and the local police didn't want to try to catch them. I had fun playing with them back and forth on the phone. First I told him it would take me a while to get to the post office. He didn't want to give me his number to call him so he kept calling me. He said he was going to meet me there.

First I told him that traffic was blocked by an accident. Then I told him I was waiting for him to show up. He said it was going to take him too long to get the car at the local dealer so I could just do it with him on the phone. He wanted to be on the phone with me when I got to the counter to make sure I had the correct name and address and wanted the the receipt to make sure it was sent. He would pick it up when they brought my car to my house. Then I acted like I was talking to someone to get the money order and was losing connection or my battery was going dead and shut the phone off for an hour.

When he called again, I pretended the phone battery had gone dead. I told him I had purchased the money order. He wanted the number off the receipt. I told him it was in my car and I was in the house but would give it to him when the brought the car. He said he had to have it before the dealer would release the car then he would bring the car to my house within a few minutes. The nearest Mercedes dealer is 90 miles away. He wanted me to go out and get the receipt and stay on the phone. I told him I had just plugged the phone into the charger and couldn't take it outside. He thought it would have enough charge. I asked for his number again just in case we lost connection. He said he would call back if we did. I kept apologizing for things taking so long. Then pretended the receipt had slipped under the seat and I was having trouble reaching it. Then I said I found it and tried to read it but told him I didn't have my glasses on. Then I pretended to lose connection and just and shut phone off again.

This all started about 9 AM and the last call ended about 3 PM.
