Some days its hard to be a Persian. Though i am somewhat mixed. But anyway for work I do my own thing online but I also help with family and friends restaurant.

What I noticed is, my own people have the nastiest, pity cheap and other nasty behaviours that makes the rest of us look bad.

For example, there was a group of Persians sat at a big table. One of them left early without paying and when the servers brought it up, they got hostile and said it's her responsibility.

Stuff likes this makes me sick because some of the Persians I know are amazingly nice kind people but the majority of them act like complete asshole that it creates a shitty stereotype.

If I am the server I would have called the bad cops on the block on those hostile Persians that wont pay I saw that behaviour too many times. It made one of my friends cry she is a new waitress at a Persian resto in Manila.

Fucking man thinks he owns the place because he has lots of money. I notice its mostly the old farts who are like that he asked the other empmoyee to kiss his shoe.

Never known Persians to be cheap. The only issues I've ever had with observed stereotypes about Persians is; love of anything gold, why do you guys love everything gold? Designer Gucci, Prada or LV shit that has no business being designer. Heavy use of cologne and/or perfume and finally, (and I have the same complaint with Greeks) great your culture was one of the first dominant cultures in history, what does that have to do with you today?

The first few things are just idiocracies that I think are comical, well except when I'm in an elevator or confined area when it comes to the cologne. The "our culture is so much better than yours" does get annoying though

That' seems to be a design issue across the middle east, Duabi airport looks like it was designed by Liberace's emirate cousin.

I feel the same way about white people.

It's a taboo but I suspect a lot of sensitive/aware people feel like that about 'their people' - i could write a list of grievances about 'my people' from here to the moon. Worst is when i see those same traits in myself.

But critical thinking and discernment is essential for coming into our own, and for our growth, so we're all just on different stages of that constant journey called 'human evolution'.

Imo, don't feel guilty about it, TS.

Stay away from Youtube

What do you mean?

Persian chicks may be p4p GOATs.

In what regards?

I hear you but the place was packed and this thing just happened out of nowhere. By the time you call the police e, they would have already left and other custmers would get screwed over from getting served properly.

I say cheap in terms of being pitiful with their attitudes. Like they will buy gold and cars but when it comes to daily expenses they will be cheap about it.

The idea is to look rich but to act like bums.

I feel the same way about white people.

How so? I noticed whites seem alright on average. They tip well and act civil. Although these are city folks working in shit collar jobs but never the less they are very good as customers.

I always thought your people were good at swordfighting and parkour

I've never used the term "my people" or talked about "my community". The only people you should consider 'your people' are people you choose to associate with.
I get where you're coming from TS, but anytime I hear someone on TV start talking about 'the ____ community" or 'their people', my sanctimonious blowhard detector starts blowing up.

I'm happy your people saw the light and let Mrs. Garrison keep Les Boz.
