So Scientology's NOT a religion?? Thanks for clearing that up for us, Mr Hubbard! We'll be sure to clear up this little misunderstanding with your loving parishioners and various state and federal officials.

Okie dokie.

Hahaha that just made my day. Scientology is loaded with such degenerates. How stupid do you have to be to do this? Once again this was incredible work right there expausing these frauds. Pretty cool cab driver, too. Nice of him to stop and show some support.

Boy you are one that made up for his role in Scientology many times over already Will. With a few hundred of your kind you'll bring down Scientology for sure. All the best with that and keep it coming. We're all watching in anticipation of the things to come.

That's awesome. That lady is stupid beyond comprehension.

Wow to that lady...

Reminds me of an old LandLady I had....

Just caught up on your story a couple of months ago. Keep fighting the good fight.

The Inquiry, to be conducted by the Senate Economics Committee, results from a Private Senator

Awesome news.. Now if only we could see the demise of sci here in the us.

Life is good, yall..

First time raiding in Portland today. Then to an amazing rockshow (frightened rabbit).

Unbeatable :)

Pics coming soon (with family).

Hey Will,
I spent over four hours (1am ~ 5 am non~stop) and am back now, reading this entire thread (am halfway but wanted to post...) and viewing half the vids, plus going to the Aussie Anon site too....
Fascinating.. A couple of Important side issues first....
I repeat it ~ its only 2~4% of priests that perpetrate sexual abuse, so Don't label
All !.. And I speak as someone who hates the superstitous system of Popery known
as Roman Catholicism...
Secondly, as someone who has been to many different Pentecostal Meetings, I can tell you I have known of NONE who practice any sort of disconnection, so whoever it was who said that, please be careful throwing around wildly excessive accusations ! I am all for the Truth, and there are some wacky groups Yes, but I have to say, my experience of Pentecostal Christians, has been one of happy kind and loving people, sure with flaws like you and me, but no weird control issues.. I know in America there are Pentecostal Groups who are Control~ish, but I have found None here in the UK and I've probably attended ten plus different ones in my life (admittedly not a massive amount, but enough to have a more thorough view than most of the readers here probably...)

Now Will, a Big Thankyou for taking a stand, this Thread strikes Completely and Resoundingly True with Me.....
I sincerely hope you find full recovery, and would say, please try and not become swallowed up with antagonism, you cannot be Bitter and Happy, you can't they are two Opposites... Yes, tell, yes protest, but keep your heart loving and True my friend... A Bitter Heart is an Unhappy Heart, I say this by way of impartial advice, and not because I discern bitterness, indeed, you have handled yourself very well in my estimation . . . . . .
If you ever find yourself in Scotland, you would be welcome here in my home . .

Very Best wishes sir, and thankyou

Not sure if it was one of my posts you are referring to.
I think I mentioned something along those lines, but I haven't read all the pages in this epic thread.
If it was me, then I'd better clarify that when I refer to Pentecostal Cults, I'm not referring to all Pentecostal churches, just the ones which do in fact exhibit cultish behaviour.
I'm in Australia, not the US, although I've travelled... and, being non-denominational, have a very broad experience of denominations and churches.
There's a very controlling aspect in Pentecostal churches which hold to various forms of reconstructionism. Combine that with more typical Pentecostal hyper-emotionalism, an isolationist approach to "in the world but not of it", prosperity (or "health and wealth") doctrine and a strong focus on end-times theology... and bingo, that's pretty much a Christian cult.
I went to a church like that for many years...
